My grandson, Byron, lives in Malta with my son Russ, his beautiful wife Fiona and his older brother Zac. He was out with the family when he came upon a cut piece of wood. He picked it up and mentioned that the cut end had really cool patterning. When he got home he made these prints using the cut end of the wood.

Very creative design
Byron And here is a surprise giveaway for all those who are reading this post
He does, indeed. I realised once in my university sculpture class that some of my classmates that stuggled with proportions simply couldn't see it. I was baffled until I realised that the abilty to 'see' things was the first and crucial key to creating. Even if the 'seeing' was simply in your mind. If you see it, you can create it. Byron can definitely see. He is very dexterous and curious too. As his father, I simply provide an endless supply of paper and materials and occasionally show him another way to see the next thing.
Your grandson is very creative. This has given me an idea to share with my 5 year old greatgrandson. Thanks
ReplyDeleteThanks. He's been very creative and artistic since he was very young.
DeleteHow very perceptive of your grandson to notice that, at such a young age! And what a good idea to give away a book! Need to do that with my overflow!
ReplyDeleteThis is a beginning for 4 monthly giveaways.
