This week I am in Ohio and Wisconsin visiting relatives I have just found through DNA testing. I was adopted and I am closing in on my birth father. I am visiting 5 cousins: one in Ohio, two from Wisconsin, one driving down from Minneapolis and the last who I have met before from Colorado Springs.
In the mean time I am giving away a copy of this book: Through Our Hands
Please leave a comment for a chance to win this wonderful book.

ReplyDeleteI have often thought about how fortunate I am to have my family. I know the story of my parents and my grandparents. It's a story that is fraught with pain and joy, being hated, being loved, being an immigrant and finding a home. I hope your journey of discovery brings you joy, love and a sense of finding home.
ReplyDeleteI am happy for you you have found some of your family, Beth. It has been quite a process, yes? The book looks terrific. I've read parts of other editions of it and loved it.

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful journey you are on. I wonder over here from "In Cris' Niche" from time to time. While I missed the chance to win the book I did visit the book's webpage and had a wonderful time just wondering around the pages of old issues of the magazine. Thank you. Colleen
