Indigo is the most addictive dyeing technique you will ever try. You just can't stop dipping!!! I call it the crack cocaine of surface design. If you've ever tried it you know what I mean.
At one workshop retreat, eons ago, we ran out of cloth!!! One of the inspired participants pulled off her bra from under her sweatshirt and dipped it in the indigo. After that, everyone ran back to their bunkhouse to get things out of their suitcases. It was a blue riot of a clothesline. Fun times with fun people who are willing to go too far. Diane
Wow! That's a lot of indigo... I think I would have to draw the line at hair, but what the heck... it grows out, right? ;-)
ReplyDeleteIt actually didn't get too blue but it was a fun thing to try.
