Indigo play date with Marcella

Here are some "before", "process" and "after" pictures of our recent playdate. There was some indigo left in the vat from the Maine Event. It was still green after 3 days so Marcella wanted to dye some of her great Goodwill finds. By the time she finally made it to the house, the indigo was blue. I made a fresh half vat and we played. She was doing large pieces of clothing so I went first with my four scarves.

Before

Marbles in Crepe de Chine

Plastic chain with haboti

Rayon infinity scarf on air vent

Crepe de Chine with Plexiglas/Perspex with clamps

Process photos

Look at that blue sky and the green bushes.

After

Marbles

Plexiglas/Perspex

Plastic chain

Air vent

Marcella took her shirts home to wash and dry and I hope to get some photos from her asap.
