    1. Yes!! It was an awful lot of work but I think it came out so well!! Then it gets cooler (hottest year on record here), I will do the quilting.

  2. I have learned a lot from you about working without psychological constraints. But I'm still learning about perseverence and the art of finishing bigger projects. It's "awfully" pretty, really oretty...

    1. Thank you so much Carmina. It really did translate well from an idea to reality. I will do the actual quilting when the weather turns much cooler so you WILL see it again...finished.

  5. Beautiful! The colors take my breath away--really lovely. A great example of using a very simple traditional quilt pattern and achieving a wonderful and personal result.

I hope to take a workshop with you someday if you are still offering them in future summers. I first heard about you last year in the Maine Fiberarts newsletter. I usually stay in Bayside and Belfast in July. This is the first year in over twenty-five years that I haven't been in Maine in the summer. (I live in Boston and am stuck here during the lockdown.)

Good luck getting some cool weather to quilt the piece. I'm sorry to hear it's so hot in Maine too.
