working into monoprints

I am certainly not presenting these as great works of art but just fun I had adding color to my monoprints. This was another activity I really enjoyed a lot.

This is such a nothing monoprint but I really love that sunrise and all the shades of green

 My fave - above

    1. Thanks for writing Tina. This will be the last year I will be doing summer workshops like the Maine Event and MidSummer Maine. They are a lot of work. I was also pondering whether anyone other than a handful of frequent commenters even read this blog. Your comment came within a half hour. Guess there are those out there who do read and enjoy the blog. I actually like writing it and sharing what I am doing. I am shifting gears and starting with a new media but I intend to keep up with my fabric, surface design and everything else that comes to hand. Again, thank you for commenting today. That made my decision to keep on clear!

    2. You know I would sorely miss your posts if you stopped writing them, Beth! Not everyone who reads leaves comments, I know that from tracking my blog stats. And I do love writing mine too... that's how we met! Keep on writing and I'll keep on reading. Meanwhile, guess if you're not doing workshops after this year you could turn your little green house into a full time studio, huh? At least in the warmer weather...

  3. Oh Dear, I also do hope you will keep your blog going. It makes me happy. I didn't know this was your last summer of workshops....Have you shared here what your new medium is? Does it have something to do with Derwent?

    1. The blog will continue because I like doing it, sharing what I make with others. It is possible I may do one or two single day workshops - possibly. I do love teaching. My new medium is pastels. More about that later.
