It's been so long since I sewed clothing, usually just slacks. I saw this top on Instagram and got some homespun fabric, 100% cotton that looks like seersucker. It looks like a cool roomy top. Fits great.

Thanks for visiting, Beth
Very nice! It does look cool, and comfy! Love the color...
ReplyDeleteThanks Judy. I bought it because of the color plus it's 100% cotton.
DeleteIt is a great pattern! I have the same one. But I never would of thought of searsucker material. I LOVE searsucker but only have ever used it for pj's or shorts.
ReplyDeleteYour top looks great!
It's 100% cotton and good weight which I think you can see. It was called "homespun" and I bought a few pieces. Very nice.
DeleteLooks great -- and really comfy!
ReplyDeleteIt will be great when it finally warms up here!!
DeleteOhh! Great minds and all that. I have sewing garments on my to-do list this year. Looks great!
ReplyDeleteI will be doing another top and a few pairs of slacks. Sew on......
