- What is a thermofax screen and how do I use it?
25 October 2017
Never saw this coming
I had a piece of cloth and I wanted to do "something" to make it interesting for a book cover. I used discharge paste and ironed away. I have never seen fabric with discharge paste be both lighter and darker at the same time. Now I will make an interesting book cover out of this.

Thanks for visiting, Beth
That's very interesting! Bet you couldn't do that again...
ReplyDeleteYou've got that right
DeleteVery interesting, you amaze me with your ideas! How did you do it? what "tool" did you use?
ReplyDeleteI used Jacquard Discahrge paste (it removes color) and a thermofax screen. The odd part was that instaed of getting lighter, part of the fabric got darker!!! I do like the result.
DeleteIt's all alive and jumping and dancing and shouting, "Yipppeeee!"
ReplyDeleteAlready made this into a book cover for Monday night at 6.
