Kakishibu pillow



Remember the marks in thickened dye we added to our faux kakishibu? I cut 2 squares both from the right side


This is the first one I stitched


Completed pillow.

  2. The patterns are great on their own, and then the stitching brings them to another level, just gorgeous. I love the addition of the buttons with the thread ends on the circular pattern!

    1. Thanks Penny. Coming from you, that is a real compliment!! I attached the buttons because there were a few areas that were "baggy". I thought of stitch but it didn't look right so "buttons: flashed across my brain. I am actually very pleased with these as well. Usually I am ambivalent but these came out great!! Surprise!!!!!!!!!!
