First crow done but not framed.

I started out with this piece

Sketched in a landscape

This is the wallpaper from my APP page on my desktop. This is my idea of heaven.

Used intense pencils but mostly blocks to color in the mountain range and pumped up the color on the crow.

Thread sketching in the trees

Pines and deciduous trees.

    1. Thanks Judy. I will stretch and mount it today but wait to frame it. I went out to my chop saw and almost had my fingers freeze off.

  3. I like you work, the bird is very fine as well the painted fabric. Very interesting technique...

  5. I agree with the above comment. I read your blog and mutter "wow!" to myself over and over. I love the texture of the crow. The colors you chose for the crow are fantastic! My Aunt loves crows and I've always wanted to make her a piece featuring them, but how to portray their beauty always stumped me. You did an amazing job. Well done!
