I tried to pick out a favorite block, but too hard to settle on one. I especially like the electric mixer, the corn and veggies, the pie and oven mitts, and the horse with its blanket!
How fun to see such a different style on your blog! Nice idea to pick out favorites: I like the 4 squares that have the fork, and the pie with mitts. The pie one feels so traditional, a tie to American women's history. I've been reading back through your posts since I've been away from Blogger for awhile. I'll now go forward and leave some comments. Speaking of quilting: I got the plate I need to hide the feed dogs and free stitch. But my fabric slips and slides when I use it and the stitches come out all uneven! So I've been trying to "draw" with the regular feed dogs.
Not my usual style of quilt but I really like this.
ReplyDeleteNot mine either but I thought a "sister" project would be fun!

ReplyDeleteAlthough not a traditional quilter, I have to admit this is a really cute quilt.

I'll have to see what the problem is with your machine.
