And it's a book. I had this map of Ohio sitting around since I traveled to the Crow Barn this fall. I thought the paper would make a cute little book that I could use for pasting in things - maybe small sketches or ephemera. I might even add an envelope for hiding away little treasures.
What a clever idea. Working a map into your first project must mean you will be "going places" this year! Fantastic that you went to the Crow Barn...a trip I'd love to make at some point. Happy New Year!
A great looking book! One of my goals this year is to learn coptic binding. A woman at work said she has an old atlas to give me too which will be great to make into covers and/or pages.
That's great. luv maps!
ReplyDeleteYour book is wonderful! I also love using old maps for book making. What do you think you'll do with it?
